Build your own online network
There are many ways in witch you can build your online network. Social media sites, services, mail, websites, blogs and many more.
I just started using Linkedin the other day, and found a whole bunch of my clients on there. With Linked in you can find other businesses, share yours and contact people.
I use Gmail, and find that the Chat feature is great when your clients need to chat to you and ask you something. It saves money and makes it simple to communicate with them. And the whole conversation gets saved.
Facebook is also a very good place for you to start building an online network. Create a group, Invite people and post on there whats happening with you/your company.
Technorati, digg, stuble all those social media sites create opportunity to make contacts and share your site/blog/company with people. Sign up to some of them and connect to the world.

Using Twitter to promote your business
Building a friendship in life is about connecting with people and sharing with others. Using twitter you can Share with many people and connect to so many more. Allot of people use twitter for fun and don’t really have much info in their “tweets”.
Using twitter you can grow your business and get new contacts over time. How do you achieve this?
What is twitter? Twitter is a social networking utility you can use to connect to others and others can connect to you. Its an on going chat between friends and contacts.
Ask Questions.
When you ask Questions on Twitter you will very often get a response from one of your followers. Everyone is always eager to help and will very quickly share what they know, or what they think they know. That way, you get ideas and build respect from your followers.
Send tips about your catagory.
Sending out short small tips every now and then will grow your follower base and the followers will respect the tips you give.
“Make sure your IP address settings are right if your internet won’t work” or “check your bandwidth when the internet goes down”
Share links
Everybody likes looking at good articles or websites you share. So share websites/blogs that you have liked and think that others will enjoy. Use TinyUrl or similair to create the tiny Url’s.
Share about your new products or services.
If you are about to launch a new product or service let them know about it. Create excitement about it and make them look foreward to it. Do a count down of the product/service and when the day comes, make a big thing about it. “2 days to go and everyones excited.”
Answer questions others ask.
Coversation goes both ways. you can’t just ask and not give any answers. If there is a question being asked, and you can answer it, don’t hesitate. Just answer it.
