Links play a very import role with the sucess of your website on the internet. Without links, it would be very difficult to navigate around the internet. We would have to manually enter the new URL’s every time we want to view something different.
Wouldn’t that be a pain?
Links from other websites are also quite important. With every website that links to you, you have a new potential for visitors. With every visitor you have potential to sell something or achieve your goal with your webiste or blog.
But its not all that simple. You will have to get other people to put links onto their site or blog. You can’t go and change someone else’s website to put a link to your page. If you want to have more links to your site or blog you will have to write something that other people like. Through that they will post a link to your content and talk about what you have written. That too is not so easy.

You contact the person of the website you want a link from. You add a link on your website or blog.
