Choosing hosting thats right for you

When it comes to hosting your own website or blog, you need to know what you need before you go ahead and rent space on someones server.
Do some research, Find out what you want from your website and what kind of server support your website needs. For example:
If you have a website that is based on video’s, similar to youtube or global video pages, you will need video streaming enabled on your server. Without it, your website will not work. If you have alot of data on your site, you need allot of space on the server and probably allot of bandwidth.
Find out from your Server provider what your hosting will have, and if it supports what you need. If it does not, write it off, find someone else.
Get a list of what you need for the website/blog and get your hosting company to supply you with that info.
A general rule of thumb is: Start small and work your way up to a big hosting package.
In most cases, your website will not generate allot of traffic overnight. So by having a big server and paying allot for something you don’t need is a waste of money.
Do those checks first, and you should be fine.
