Why Real time info is important
We live in the information age. Where information and data is sent across the world in a matter of seconds. News is spread from America to South Africa over to any other Country in the world.
Why is it important for us to keep track of this high speed information?
In the past it would take forever for a letter to get to the other end to tell the people news about their family or friends. That was acceptible then. Today we need to know this information quicker and we need to understand it.
When it comes to Banking you don’t want to be left in the dark when the bank you wanted to bank with is going bankcrupt. If you don’t know about it, you will still go and bank with that Bank. A month or so later, you have no more money and don’t understand why.
If we think back to september 11 2001. We all know what happened, The world trade centers were taken down by terrorists. If we did not listen to the news and they did not inform the world, we would never know.
Why fast moving news is important:
1. It gives you an Understanding of the world.
2. Gives you something to talk about in a social situation.
3. You know where you stand when it comes to Technology and descisions.
4. News travel very fast and in some cases can prevent a bad situation.

A New England Patriots cheerleader was kicked off the squad this week after photos surfaced on Facebook showing her posing with a passed-out man covered in offensive markings.
Caitlin Davis, 18, lost her job after pictures appeared showing her holding a Sharpie marker up to an unconscious man with offensive graffiti all over him, including two swastikas and crude drawings of male genitalia, the Boston Herald reported Wednesday.
Davis was booted from her place on the squad after Tuesday.
The photographs, which were first published on Onblastatlast.com, were taken at a Halloween party at Boston College.

Telkom, Mvelaphanda Suspend Talks
After months of protracted discussions around the sale of Telkom to Mvelaphanda and its consortium, the talks have been “suspended”. However, talks with Vodafone are ongoing.
The utility released the announcement on the JSE yesterday, saying the talks had been suspended because of “market conditions and pricing considerations”.
Telkom’s group executive of investor relations Nicola White says the talks have been suspended and not terminated. “The current economic climate and the price of credit have put a damper on the offer from the consortium.”
She says Telkom would like to get the best deal it can for its shareholders and the current economy will not allow for that for the time being. “However, should things change, we would welcome a renewal of talks.”
